Forest·Trails Ethiopia
Eco-tourism platform connecting travelers with Ethiopia's sacred church forests
Hello, The Digital World. I am
I'm a 4th-year Software Engineering student from Addis Ababa. I don't just build apps — I find real problems, think hard about them, and engineer solutions that actually matter. Five projects live. Many lessons learned. The journey continues.
Learning
Continuously
I'm not the smartest person in the room, and I've made peace with that. What I am is determined. Engineering isn't about knowing everything — it's about not stopping until the problem is solved. Every project started with: does this actually need to exist? Will it actually help someone?
From eco-tourism platforms for Ethiopia's sacred forests to live queue systems for barbershops in Addis — my projects are not demos. They're attempts at real value. Some worked better than others. All of them taught me something.
Right now I'm learning DevOps and DevSecOps — because great engineering isn't just the code you write, but the systems around it. Security. Reliability. Infrastructure that doesn't fail people.
I work hard. I work smart. And I've learned that struggle is not a sign of failure — it's a sign you're doing something that matters.

Enrolled in BSc Software Engineering. First line of code. First bug. First obsession.

Stopped building tutorials and started building real things. First product with a real audience. Learned more in two weeks than a semester.

Each solved a real problem for a real audience. None of them perfect. All of them real.

Currently in my 4th year. Sharpening engineering thinking, bridging software with infrastructure and security. The work is not done.

I'm not looking for perfect opportunities. I'm looking for real ones.
